In the event of car breakdown, is a replacement car provided?
Yes, in the event that the car you rent has problems requiring technical interventions, we will provide you with the best replacement solution to continue your holiday as best as possible; even in the event of an accident.
UNEXPECTED
If I lose my keys, what happens?
If you lose your vehicle keys, please contact FP RENT at +39 327.1044188 for emergency assistance. We will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. N.B.: Please see the contractual conditions in the dedicated section.
SAFETY
Are your vehicles checked before rental?
FP RENT vehicles undergo regular checks upon return to the premises, including essential checks and a check of the vehicle's general condition. During the rental period, the Customer is required to use the vehicle with due diligence and promptly report any anomalies or malfunctions to FP RENT. Failure to report such anomalies may result in the Customer's liability for any damage to the vehicle or to third parties.
LIMITATIONS
Can I use the car to travel beyond the regional border of Sardinia?
No, it is absolutely forbidden to cross the Sardinian regional borders, unless expressly authorized and by prior agreement with the FP RENT staff.
SANCTIONS AND CONTRACTS
What if I were to receive a fine?
In the event of an inspection by the competent authorities, the driver is required to provide the vehicle documents, their driving license, and the personal information required for any fines to be applied. The driver must promptly inform FP RENT of any inspections or violations. If a ticket is notified to FP RENT after the rental, the Company will identify the driver and inform them of the fine and any additional charges.
CLAIMS AND DAMAGEOUS EVENTS
What if I cause or suffer an accident?
In the event of an accident, whether active or passive, we ask you to simply contact FP RENT immediately. Our staff will provide you with assistance and clear instructions on how to proceed, step by step. Simply fill out the accident report form (CID), if possible, and follow the instructions provided. Do not carry out repairs or move the vehicle without authorization, except for safety reasons or when directed by the authorities. All aspects of liability and coverage will be handled transparently according to the Rental Terms and Conditions, with the aim of supporting you and resolving the situation as smoothly as possible.
RETURN OF THE VEHICLE
How do I return the vehicle?
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was delivered, except for normal use. Smoking is prohibited inside the vehicle. The return wash is included in the price; however, the Customer is required to maintain the vehicle in adequate hygienic conditions. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when delivered. The Customer is required to arrive at least 10 minutes before the return time to allow for a joint inspection of the interior and exterior condition of the vehicle.
